Another classic ! Here is a refinished 1952 Telecaster . This one has maintained many of its original parts , both pickups , bridge plate and saddles with screws are original to the guitar , both pots are also original . The pickguard is tricky , it's Bakelite and looks right but there are some great reproductions and I would have expected a bit more wear on the guard . There is a single coil (Nashville style ) middle pickup route with a small filled channel route , it's a pro job and is not too obvious under the refin . The refin body does have heavy checking and the headstock is oversprayed. The machine heads appear to be mid 60's , the holes have not been drilled out but there are some small screw holes from other tuners . The neck feels great and appears to have been refretted many years ago with small traces of old lacquer .The neck and body still maintain their TG pencil dates . A great players '52 Tele that sounds incredible .
