Here is a stunning 1964 Gibson Firebird VII . Gibson launched the Firebird design in 1963 with four main models : the Firebird I ,II, V, and VII . The Firebird VII was the top of the line with 3 pickups , ebony board and long Maestro trem . This example is 100% original from top to bottom , all pots date to 1964 with 3 original amazing sounding Firebird pickups , all hardware and plastics are original to the guitar , the finish has checking and shows natural wear , the pickguard has some shrinkage and cracks but is fully intact and the best part ...... no breaks ! The headstock is solid . The guitar has set up perfectly with the original frets and sounds incredible . This is a great example of a vintage survivor that was played but taken care of .
