Well the Custom Shop doesn't make it easy . This is a Journeyman Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster '56/59 . This was a custom ordered guitar so it has a mix of different years and specs. The neck is based on a 1959 Strat with a D profile and '59' head scoop, narrow tall frets and 9.5 radius .The body is based on the contours of a 1956 Stratocaster with a really nice faded aged Sonic Blue but with a 3 ply green guard . The pickups are HW 50's Fat . The previous owner had a different set of pickups installed at some point so there is a small pro route under each pickup cavity to accommodate a taller pickup , the originals are back in , great playing and sounding guitar !
