Here is a 1968 Fender Bassman Head w/ Tall Cab . The Bassman head is all original and sports the 'drip edge' grill , the matching cabinet has the original 2 x12 Jensen speakers both dating to 1967 . Made famous by Paul McCartney , although he used a 2x15 cab , this model was designed for bass and does sound pretty amazing at a low volume , when used as a guitar amp it rocks ! The tube break up is fantastic with plenty of harmonic rich distortion and volume . The amp has been played and shows normal gig wear but is electronically and structurally sound . |
