Here is a 1959 Fender Champ Amp 5F1 .This one is in very good condition with a tube chart stamp of Dec / 1959 , both transformers also date to 1959 , the circuit is original with just the filter caps being replaced , the speaker is a newer Weber classic alnico . This one has the classic gritty overdrive tone but with the Weber speaker it holds together a bit better and has a nice tight compression the more you turn up. It's been grounded with a similar colour cable as the original , looking good !! |
