Here is a 1993 Matchless DC 30 from the Sampson Era . The DC 30 was the companies first design and most popular , it's rated at 30 watts from a quartet of EL84s through two channels each with unique voicing and tone , these amps can be played clean , mildly overdriven or full on power tube saturation , it sounds fantastic at any volume . This one is loaded with 2 x12 factory Celestions. This one was owned and played by Billy Duffy of the Cult , it spent its life in a road case so the grill and green tolex show very minor wear . Billy is a Manchester City supporter so this amp proudly displays a M.C.F.C decal on the amp . Pretty darn cool !
