Here is a pretty sweet rig ! This is a Satellite Barracuda Head and Double 2 x12 Cabinet.
This setup was built for Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols , he apparently had 2 of these rigs built but after playing with them decided they were too much ( I guess we all get old).
The head is powered by 2 x EL34's with 1 open back 2 x12 cabinet and 1 closed back cab all with Green Backs 25 watt Celestions . This one was built with a master volume and the tone is amazing , the amp has nice clarity but can overdrive to full saturation at a reasonable volume . I love the simple layout , the tone is right there when you turn it on !
Steve Jones' name is impressed on the back as the serial number , cool . |
