Here is a fantastic player grade 1966 Fender Telecaster . This one came in from the original owner who purchased it new in the late 60's . One of the first things he did was strip off the original finish , so this one is down to the Ash , the original blonde finish is still in all the cavities he also painted the pick guard to make it look "newer". Both pots and pickup selector are original , the neck pickup is original , the bridge pickup was replaced by Fender many years ago and dates to 1969 . The guitar was re-fretted in the 80's . The neck dates to 1966 , neck plate , bridge and saddles are also original . This is a fantastic Telecaster and definitely a great candidate for a proper refin and restoration !
