This old Gretsch has had a makeover ! Here is a 1960 Gretsch model G6124 . A number of interesting upgrades have been added to this one , a new LR Baggs T Bridge has been installed with an added volume pot giving it a 'bridge pickup' tone with an acoustic characteristic , the neck pickup is a TV Jones Hi Lo Tron ( original bridge and pickup are in the case ) , the top has been neatly refinished and a new ebony fingerboard has been added with a neck reset . The machine heads have been replaced with a set of Grover Imperials (original tuners are in the case) All said and done this is a great playing Gretsch with some fantastic tones !
