This one is awesome ! Here is an amazing 1967 Gibson ES-335 . This came in from a customer who purchased it in 1977 from Music City in Mississauga , he played it all through the 70's and 80's , it shows all the natural wear and patina from years in the clubs . The best part is it maintained most of its originality with no headstock breaks and is structurally solid . It came in with an old set of Grovers that didn't need to have the tuner holes widened so we put on a set of Gibson Kluson tuners that fit perfectly .
We went through all the electronics, pots dated to 1965 and have all been cleaned ,we did have to install a new input jack , the Pat. Sticker T-Top pickups and electronics are original , the Maestro tailpiece is also original , the neck has been re-fretted . The guitar has just been set up and it plays great !
Both pickups are reading perfectly , they are open sounding with nice clarity .
