Here's a sweet one ! This is a 1954 Gibson SJ , this guitar is structurally in better condition than most 50's Gibson's that come through the shop , the original Sunburst finish has been removed with a thin finish applied , the guitar is crack free and maintains all the original bracing with no body damage. The guitar has been refretted and has a new Rosewood bridge that fits the footprint of the old one ,the guitar plays perfectly . It also has a set of newer Gibson Kluson tuners , it has the original pickguard and nut . The tone is classic 50's Gibson , woody but wide open . This is close to half of the price of an original and a great example of this era Gibson acoustic .
