Here's a puzzle , at first glance this looks like a 1973 Marshall Super Lead 100W , once we took it apart and had a good look it appears to be a replica of a 70's Marshall Head . The chassis is not a Marshall and has been custom made , the transformers appear to be original Marshall from the early 70's , the caps and resistors are older but not from an original Marshall build , it has a power cut 50/100 watt switch on the back ,the rear aluminum panel is missing and is painted gold with new stencils . The cab for the head could be Marshall or a really accurate repo cab , it shows age but has some small details that do not look like a Marshall build . All said and done its a solid 100 watt head that sounds great with the full Marshall tone . |
