Here is a really cool and rare acoustic , this is a 1954 Gibson J-160E . The guitar is in great structural shape with natural player wear , no cracks or breaks , the guitar's neck angle is perfect and it plays really well with the original frets . The original P-90 pickup has been switched out for a later Gibson T Top Humbucker , the pots have also been replaced with 500k that date to 1981 , no modifications have been done to the top to accommodate the T-Top pickup. This era J-160E has a solid top with a warm woody tone , it's just been set up and sounds amazing . And a guy named John Lennon played a 60's version of this guitar in some band called the Beatles .
