Three's a crowd ? Well not in this case . Here is a 1977 Gibson ES-175 , normally an ES-175 has 2 pickups but many years ago a middle pickup was added , all the pickups are era-correct Humbuckers with one dating to 1979 , the route for the middle pickup is a pro job and looks fine . The wiring has changed to accommodate the 3rd pickup , there are now 3 volumes ( 1 for each pickup ) and a master tone . The bridge is a newer ABR and the machine heads are Gibson branded Kluson Deluxe . The guitar has just been set up and plays great .
