Here is an 'under the bed find' ! This is an all original 1969 Fender Telecaster.The original blonde finish is in amazing condition with just a bit of 'case rub' on the end of the guitar , you can see the Ash grain through the finish . All the hardware and electronics are original to 1969 with the pots dating to 1966 . The original pickguard has shrunk a bit and opened up a few of the screw holes. The frets show very minor wear and are in great shape . This era neck date has many inconsistencies, the green stamp has the neck description but not the date (we have an original 1970 Strat with the same neck date issue) Fender often used 'leftover necks ' they didn't think people like us would be taking these things apart and dating them !
