Sick ! Here is a 1957 Fender Esquire .This one is interesting , the original finish is present on the cutaways , under the neck plate and under the bridge , you can also see original finish on various parts of the guitar . To me it looks like someone back in the day liked the 'wood look ' but was too lazy to take off the parts . The pots are old but non-original are the rest of the electronics and pickup are original , the neck does have overspray and has been refretted , all the hardware on the guitar is also original to 1957 . The pencil dates are still present on the neck and body route .
