DESCRIPTION
We don't see these very often and this one is super clean....1963 Fender Bass VI. Similar to the Jazzmaster in style , the Bass VI was an attempt by Fender to launch a successful 6-string bass with a range a full octave down from a 6-string guitar. By late '63, the pickups on the Bass VI were switched to more Jaguar-like with side notches. Foam rubber mutes and a forth control switch were also added. The neck dates to APR/'63, pots also date to '63. The Bass VI was used on many great tracks , notable players are Glen Campbell, Jack Bruce, Joe Perry and of course John Lennon ( Hey Jude).Super clean , all original ! Sweet ! w/mid 60's Bass VI HSC
